After graduating with top honors from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida, he continued his education and trained in General Surgery at Jackson Memorial Medical Center and Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. A personal note:
While the merits of training in some procedures can be measured by schooling, a lot of techniques weren't around when most of the top doctors now practicing, including myself, went to school. My continued enthusiasm to learn the latest procedures and advancements and techniques thru continued educational courses and seminars are a priority.
Cosmetic or Aesthetic medicine is constantly changing. Some dermatologists think that anything under the skin is their domain, although they didn't go the surgery route in school, and they don't have real surgical training. Nonetheless, board certification is not a warranty that a physician is "competent". One must posses the knowledge, experience and skills necessary, and are capable of performing procedures. My knowledge, expertise, skill are well recognized within the industry and I take great pride in the quality of work I provide. This can be seen from my loyal patient following, from which I have enjoyed since 1984.
